If you are looking for a rewarding career, we encourage you to apply to join our team at AWARE.Responsibilities:Project Specialist will follow and implement all directives, policies, and procedures issued by AWARE’s Chief Financial Officer and Business Operations Manager.File a variety of claims, payments, and adjustment data.Record client charges, monitor and post cash receipts, make daily deposits, and track payments.Maintain assigned databases with changes to cost plans, charges and collected amounts.Facilitate team operations by discussions through the sharing of information and knowledge, identification of teamwork issues, development of problem-solving recommendations, and recommendations of standardizing team operations.Identify practices that are and are not working and make recommendations to the assigned supervisors.Assess the need for training and submit requests to assigned supervisors.Develop, compile, and forward needed reports as directed.Inform immediate supervisor of all staff-related needs as they occur.Assist in the overall management of AWARE’s fiscal departments by illustrating initiative when needed and where expertise allows.Turn in all documentation as required and meet with co-employees, supervisor, manager and the CFO as necessaryRequirementsExcited to join our organization? AWARE accounts receivable project specialists earn $17.67 per hour.To learn more please visit AWARETalents, skills, and abilities:Associate of Arts Degree or Certification in Accounting Technology, Bookkeeping, Data/Information Processing, or Business Administration Technology is preferred, although an equivalency may be considered if the work history is direct employment experience. A minimum of two (2) years of accounting and computer experience is also required. Thorough knowledge of accounting methods and statistical procedures is required as well as a working knowledge of office procedures and practice. R Requires proficiency in MS Office products, particularly MS Excel, the abilities to work accurately with details, to perform calculations, and to tabulate and record data accurately.
