Raise Montana Child Care Substitute Teacher in Anaconda, Montana

This is a perfect job for someone who wants to create their own schedule and is passionate about working with children. Montana is experiencing a child care staffing shortage and you can help local child care programs provide quality care and education to Montana’s children. No prior child care experience required. All needed training provided. Job Description: Performs duties of the teacher/caregiver to provide continuity of day-to-day responsibilities with children during the absence of regular staff. Responsibilities: Adheres to all state licensing rules and regulations Adheres to all program policies and procedures Provide quality active supervision, focused attention, and caring service for the children in care Uses best judgment to act in the best interests of the children at all times Respond to each individual child’s needs promptly Maintain a safe, healthy, and orderly environment which promotes active learning Maintains daily classroom routines, including keeping appropriate records, setting up meals, etc. Work with the children hands-on to support learning objectives Promote harmony among the children attempting to minimize conflict, with gentle but firm guidelines and positive guidance Exhibit good listening skills especially when conflict or discipline issues arise and problem solve professionally Report any accidents or injuries immediately and document using incident report forms Maintain confidentiality Education and Experience Requirements: Age Requirement: 18 years old Experience working with children is preferred, but not necessary.
