The Anaconda Leader Part Time Copy Editor in Anaconda, Montana
The Anaconda Leader, a twice-weekly newspaper in Anaconda, Montana is seeking to hire a layout specialist who can assist the editor with page design duties. The successful candidate will be proficient with the Adobe Creative Suite of programs, especially InDesign, and should have an understanding of print layout and design. This is a part-time position that will work closely with the editor to develop well-organized page layouts for our twice-weekly publication. The position will include some proofreading as well as light office work, and there may be opportunities for writing and/or photography as well, but the primary duty will be page design. Wages and hours are negotiable, though Tuesday and Thursday afternoons/evenings are a must due to our Wednesday and Friday morning press deadlines.
