CITY OF BAKER Clerk/Treasurer in BAKER, Montana

The City of Baker, Montana is accepting applications for one full-time employee in the Office of the City Clerk for the position of Clerk/Treasurer. The applicant must possess the skills and experience necessary to perform primarily Governmental Accounting functions and serve as the Clerk to the Baker City Council and supervise employees performing payroll, accounts payable, and utility billing operations. The applicant will also perform zoning administrative duties and a variety of clerical functions while maintaining frequent contact with the public as well as coordination with other city employees, as necessary. This position requires adherence to accuracy and great attention to detail. The applicant shall possess a high school diploma or equivalent and a combination of two years' higher education or work experience in accounting, business administration, finance, and computer application operations. Starting pay for this position is $30.71 per hour negotiable upon applicable education and or experience.
