O'Reilly Hospitality Management Team Members can sign up for DailyPay on day one!Essential Responsibilities:Escorts incoming hotel guests to rooms, assisting guests with luggage.Inspects guest’s room to ensure that it is in order and that supplies are adequate.Explains features of room such as operation of television, telephone, in-room movie system, etc.Offers information pertaining to available services and facilities of hotel, points of interest and entertainment attractions.Pages guest in lobby, dining room and other parts of property.Deliver messages and runs errands.Maintains courtesy van consisting of washing, cleaning and fueling.Raises, lowers and ensure proper handling of American, state and brand flags. Maintains lobby in a tidy manner; this includes, but not limited to trash, seating areas, front doors, floors, etc.Maintains the front portocochere by picking up trash, cleaning oil leaks, shoveling snow, melting ice, hosing off sidewalks, etc.Attends and participates in monthly front desk meetings.May assist other departments.May deliver room service orders on occasion.May pick up articles of laundry and valet service, and call taxi for guests.May transport guests about property or local area in hotel van.May keep record of calls for service.May deliver packages, suitcases and trunks.Reports to work for scheduled shift, on time and in uniform in accordance with company policy.Knows and complies with all company policies and procedures pertaining to this position and its duties.Takes the initiative to greet guests in a friendly and warm manner.Embrace O’Reach, Green Team, Guest Service, Team Member Satisfaction, Health & Wellness, and Safety culture.Performs other duties and responsibilities as required or requested. Skills & Abilities:Strong leadership, management, organizational and communication skills.The ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.The ability to deliver results.The ability to work well with, as well as motivate, a variety of personality types and maintain tact and diplomacy throughout all interactions.The ability to multitask and prioritize. Education & Experience:Minimum of High School education or GED.Current Driver’s License required. Hours:Due to the nature of the business, scheduling may vary and include nights, weekends, and holidays. Physical Requirements of the Position:Heavy Work: Exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally (Occasionally: activity or condition exists up to 1/3 of the time), and/or up to 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently (Frequently: activity or condition exists up to 1/3 to 2/3 of the time), and/or a 10 to 20 of force constantly (Constantly: activity or condition exists up to 2/3 or more of the time) to move objects. Requires walking or standing to a significant degree. Environmental Conditions:Inside: Protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes.
