Job Title: Aircraft Mechanic
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Aircraft Mechanic to maintain and repair our firefighting fleet of CL-215 aircraft. The role will be based at our fleet base hangar, with all tools provided. You will use WinAir maintenance tracking software, consult repair manuals, blueprints, work orders, and engineering drawings, select the appropriate tools, and perform repairs on engines, props, and other systems and components. This position ensures the fleet remains operational while some of the team members are out in the field on firefighting contracts.
Responsibilities
Maintain and repair CL-215 firefighting fleet aircraft
Use WinAir maintenance tracking software
Consult repair manuals, blueprints, work orders, and engineering drawings
Select the appropriate tools and perform repairs on engines, props, and other systems and components
Ensure the fleet is maintained while some of the team is out in the field on firefighting contracts
Essential Skills
Aircraft maintenance experience (2+ years)
A&P License
Repair and troubleshooting skills
Experience with heavy maintenance, line maintenance, and MRO
Experience with C checks
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Valid driver's license
Eligible for safety sensitive hire
Preferred: Experience in maintenance of overwing prop aircraft (Dash-8/Q400, ATR's, CL-215/CL-415, etc)

Work Environment
This position requires working 6 days a week, Monday through Saturday, for 10 hours each day through June 2025. The role is based at our fleet base hangar, with all necessary tools provided.

This is a Contract position based out of Belgrade, Montana.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $65.00/hr.
