CACI is seeking a talented Logistics Technician to join Ascent Vision Technologies (AVT) in Belgrade, MT. AVT is a fast-growing technology company that is a global leader in counter unmanned aerial systems, high-tech camera systems, and software development. AVT manufactures best-in-class gyro-stabilized gimbal systems designed for a wide variety of ground, maritime, and aerial-based applications. We specialize in fully integrated solutions for intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance; and counter drone operations for the defense and aerospace industry. Our pioneering systems are supporting airborne, ground and maritime missions around the world.
The primary purpose of this position is to assist the Inventory Manager with shipping, receiving, stocking and inventory control of gyro-stabilized camera system subassemblies and entire gimbal systems for the AVT manufacturing facility. The Logistics Technican will also be responsible for working closely with the production team and assisting with the following: inventory, kitting, QMS, receipt inspection, and other projects. Normal business hours are 8 am to 5 pm Monday - Friday. This position is full time and the employee should work within those hours with an expected 40 hours of work per week.
The Logistics Technician will have the following primary duties:
Assist the Inventory Manager with the shipping, receiving, inventory and initial inspection of gyro-stabilized camera systems and sub-system components in the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
Prepare documents, such as work orders, bills of lading, commercial invoices, packing slips, or shipping orders, to route materials.
Provide assistance for maintaining logistics planning tasks.
Responsible for adhering to all Import & Export Guidelines as defined under the United States Munitions List (USML), ITAR, and Department of Commerce Bureau of Industry and Security regulations.
Assist the Production Manager with continuous warehouse organization with supplies and inventory.
Ensure goods are packaged securely for safe transit and labeled according to applicable regulations.
Actively participate in continuous improvement of our products and processes to better serve our customers.
Enter and maintain information in AVT’s time tracking system.
Load/unload trucks using a hand jack/electric pallet jack or forklift.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required; AA degree preferred.
Preferred experience in warehouse, manufacturing or retail supply chain logistics.
Exceptional verbal, written and professional skills.
Organized, efficient, good at multitasking, and driven to succeed.
Must possess excellent hand eye coordination
Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
Must have the discipline to follow written and verbal directions closely.
Must be neat and orderly in workspaces.
Must be able to sit and focus for long periods.
Capable of lifting at least 50 lbs.
Adhere to product care guidance set forth by the Production Manager.
Must be able to explain issues encountered during shipping, receiving or initial inspection and work with appropriate individuals to solve the problem.
Must adhere to learned Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) and 5S principles.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where requirements may frequently change.
Must be a US Citizen.
These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have
Knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, Epicor preferred.
