OVERVIEW:

The Housing Assistant assists the Housing Manager with all aspects pertaining to employee housing in Montana.

Compensation for this Position: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour

General Responsibilities:

  • Maintain open communication lines with all working relationships

  • Follow up to ensure items for which the job is accountable are performed

  • Earn and maintain customer’s trust

  • Work well with others to accomplish the mission of the organization and of the job

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Will serve as an additional point of contact for employees, providing a positive housing experience for them

  • Works closely with the Housing Manager to ensure daily housing operations run smoothly

  • Maintains accurate and up to date records of employee housing locations- both current and future

  • Coordinate move-in and move out schedules, inspections and maintenance requests

  • Assist employees with understanding housing policies and procedures

  • Build strong relationships with the property managers to address housing-related concerns

  • Support the Housing Manger with employee relocation logistics

  • Assist the Housing Manager with setting up new leases, COI’s and utilities

  • Monitor and track lease expiration dates and renewals

  • Other duties as may be assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

This position requires a high school diploma and more than 5 years of experience in logistical coordination and/or administrative assistant. Management experience is also preferred. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint, and Excel.
