CACI is looking for a Software Engineer to join recently acquired Ascent Vision Technologies (AVT), now part of our National Security and Innovation Solutions (NSIS) Sector, in Belgrade, Montana.
What You’ll Get to Do:
Designing, developing, and testing software using C based coding languages ,including but not limited to, C++ and C.
Working with local and remote engineering and development teams in order to accomplish both individual and group tasks.
Develop all levels of AVT’s gimbal products and full integrated systems, to include: lower level embedded work, communication between hardware and user interfaces, and updates to graphical user interfaces.
Collaborating with team members to determine best practices and client requirements for software.
Working with the global software team to design and implement software for use with the product line.
Interpreting control documents to integrate new components and hardware solutions in the expanding software portfolio.Develop and continually update application changes based on specific customer requirements.
Professionally maintain software and create updates regularly to address customer and company concerns.
Build automated tests to thoroughly test new software systems.
Quickly debug issues that arise during development.
Infrequent customer support, either via phone or email, for specific integrated systems.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
Experience using programming languages, primarily C++ and C.
Background in both Linux and Windows systems.
Ability to debug existing software systems.
Knowledge with TCP, UDP, and Serial communications.
Ability to work on tight deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance.
These Qualifications Would Be Nice To Have:
- UI experience, including developing changes based on end user feedback.
