Lead Bartender/Server at Moonlight BasinStart Date: May 19, 2025End Date: October 4, 2025 Moonlight Club LLC d/b/a Moonlight Basin, located in Big Sky, Montana, seeks ten (10) full-time, temporary Lead Bartender/Servers who will be responsible for mixing and serving drinks to guests, greeting customers, setting up the dining areas, taking and placing orders, carrying trays and plates, serving snacks or food items to guests, completing all orders using a POS (point-of-sale) system, collecting payment, cleaning glasses and bar equipment, clearing, cleaning, and resetting tables, and ensuring that the bar and work areas are clean and well-stocked. Lead Bartender/Servers will also be responsible for verifying customers’ ages for purchase of alcohol. Lead Bartender/Servers will check with guests to ensure guest satisfaction and take action to correct any problem as well as assisting with front-of-house operations, mentoring staff, ensure smooth dining services, lead by example in providing exceptional service and maintaining a positive work environment, and assisting in completing weekly and monthly inventories. There will be no autonomous supervision of workers at any time. Will report directly to the Restaurant General Manager at Moonlight Basin. Three (3) months experience in a fine-dining or high-volume environment at a high-end restaurant, resort, or private club required.Applicant must complete pre-employment background check at employer’s expense. Travel is not required.Daily transportation to and from worksite is provided via employee shuttle and community bus.On-the-job training is provided. Wage: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour, paid bi-weekly. Gratuity-eligible position, so actual wage with tips may occasionally be higher. Overtime is available at $25.50 - $27.00 per hour. Employees may be eligible for additional compensation in the form of a discretionary end-of-season bonus and an employee appreciation bonus based on performance and accrual tenure.Schedule: 40 hours per week. Work schedule can vary and can include evening, weekend, and holiday hours. Work may be performed on any day of the week from Monday through Sunday. Example shifts: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, or 1:00 PM - 9:00 PM. Shift hours may vary.A single workweek will be used to compute wages due.Optional housing is offered on a first-come, first-serve basis for workers who are relocating to begin employment. Cost of housing, if accepted, is $650.00 per month for double occupancy and $1,200.00 for single occupancy. If used, total cost of housing will be deducted from paycheck on the first two paychecks of each month in the amount of $325 to $600. Cost of housing includes utilities and internet. A $300.00 non-refundable administration fee is required, which will either (depending upon employee’s choice) be deducted in equal $150 installments from employee’s first two (2) paychecks or deducted from the employee’s first paycheck in the amount of $300.Additional, optional benefits may be offered to worker, for worker’s sole benefit, including but not limited to health insurance and 401k. If voluntarily elected by worker, employee costs/contributions for benefits will be deducted from paycheck.All deductions from paycheck required by law will be made.If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, employer will pay directly for and/or reimburse workers for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay for worker’s reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer. The employer will pay directly for and/or reimburse workers for all reasonable inbound transportation and subsistence costs within the first workweek. The employer will pay directly for and/or reimburse workers for all reasonable outbound transportation and subsistence costs during the last workweek. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved.
