National Sales Manager
The National Sales Manager is responsible to solicit group business that enables the hotel to meet and/or exceed revenue goals in rooms and food and beverage and spa. This position was designated for a seasoned sales professional who has demonstrated consistently in strong revenue production. Luxury and mountain experience preferred. Remote positions are not being considered as the candidate will work on property in Big Sky, Montana.
Solicit new and existing accounts to meet/exceed revenue goals through telephone solicitation, outside sales calls, site inspections and written communication. Attend trade shows, community events and industry meetings
Prepare correspondence to customers, internal booking reports and file maintenance.
Participate in daily business review meeting, pre-convention meetings, training and other sales-related meetings as required.
Work with other departments within the hotel to provide quality service to customers.
Develop/maintain knowledge of market trends, competition and customers.
High school or equivalent education required.
Be able to communicate clearly and understand the predominant language(s) of our guests.
Must have at least three years of luxury hotel group sales experience and work on property in Big Sky
Punctuality and regular and reliable attendance.
Requires mobility. Requires prolonged sitting, standing, and walking. Eye/hand coordination and manual dexterity. Ability to distinguish letters, symbols, and colors. Normal vision and hearing range. Knowledge of attractions/restaurants in the Los Angeles area as well as provided by Montage.
