Partner Strategy & Alliances
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Partner Strategy & Alliances to join our team. In this individual contributor role, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive partner strategy to drive revenue growth and build a strong pipeline of business opportunities through strategic partnerships. This position requires a proactive approach to collaborating with partners and our sales team to deliver effective learning technology solutions to our clients. The ideal candidate will bring a hunter’s mentality, the ability to engage senior executives at partner organizations, and a proven track record nurturing relationships with top Global System Integrators (GSIs) and large technology companies.
In this role you will…
Develop and implement a robust partner strategy that aligns with Cornerstone’s overarching business goals and sales objectives in North America with a focus on the Federal Space.
Employ a hunter/sales mentality to identify and onboard new channel partners, expanding market presence and building a strong pipeline of opportunities.
Confidently call upon and present to senior executives within partner organizations, ensuring high engagement and strategic alignment.
Cultivate and strengthen relationships with existing partners, including large GSIs such as Deloitte and Accenture, ensuring achievement of sales objectives and high-value collaboration.
Leverage experience working across both commercial and public sector markets to tailor strategies that resonate with diverse partner ecosystems.
Collaborate closely with partners to develop co-branded marketing efforts, targeted sales campaigns, and innovative joint go-to-market strategies.
Provide continuous training, support, and enablement tools to partner teams, ensuring they have the necessary knowledge and resources to effectively represent and sell Cornerstone’s product offerings.
Work in tandem with the direct sales and marketing teams to synchronize partner initiatives with broader sales efforts, ensuring seamless collaboration and consistent messaging.
Monitor, analyze, and report on partner performance, providing targeted support to optimize sales outcomes, manage pipeline effectively, and meet or exceed regional sales goals.
Represent Cornerstone at partner-related events, conferences, and trade shows, elevating brand visibility and cultivating new business leads.
Stay informed about market dynamics and competitive landscapes, adapting partnership strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
You’ve got what it takes if you’ve got…
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in partner management or channel sales, preferably within the HCM or Learning Technology sectors.
Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales quotas and foster meaningful, strategic partnerships that drive revenue growth.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the capability to build and maintain strong relationships at all levels—including senior executives.
Established connections with large technology firms (e.g., Salesforce, ServiceNow) and GSIs such as Deloitte and Accenture.
Documented success cultivating strategic partner relationships within a large technology company environment.
Self-motivated and adept at thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment, working effectively across commercial and public sector domains.
Willingness to travel as needed within the North American region to engage with partners, attend key events, and support stakeholders.
A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
