Humana Associate Director, Inside Sales (remote possible) in Billings, Montana


Are you passionate about the Medicare population, looking for a role in leadership that will give you the ability to direct the success of 120 work at home call center sales associates? If so, we are looking for a dynamic and agile leader that is highly motivated and self-driven that thinks outside the box to join our team in operating virtual call centers of the future.


The Associate Director, DMS Telesales will be responsible for leading and developing highly engaged, top- performing teams of Sales Managers and Inside Sales Agents who sell our portfolio of healthcare products offered to prospects and members over the phone. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to manage a large staff of work at home leaders and agents virtually, a good understanding of call center day-to-day operations utilizing current and future technologies.

Required Qualifications

  • Active Health Insurance License (or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire)

  • 2+ years formal leadership experience with direct reports

  • Track record of building high-performing sales teams and achieving sales goals

  • Demonstrated ability to partner across functions to create win/win strategies

  • This position will require about 25% travel primarily for business meetings

  • 3+ years of experience in a sales environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 5 or more years of call-center sales leadership experience

  • Prior experience leading large teams in a values-based culture

  • Experience with the healthcare insurance industry

  • Active Health & Life Insurance Licenses

  • Prior experience coordinating sales operations activities with partners/vendors, including systems migrations

Additional Information

  • You must be able to obtain your active Health Insurance Licenses as well as the AHIP certification within the first 90 days of employment

  • ​For this job, associates are required to be fully COVID vaccinated or undergo weekly COVID testing and wear a face covering while at work. The weekly testing will need to be done through an approved Humana vendor, and unvaccinated associates should follow all social distancing and masking protocols if they are required to come into a Humana facility or work outside of their home.
