CITY OF BILLINGS CODE ENFORCEMENT DIVISION MANAGER in BILLINGS, Montana
The Code Enforcement Division Manager will direct, manage, supervise, and coordinate the Billings MT City Code Enforcement Division programs and activities and coordinate assigned activities with other City and County departments, division, and outside agencies; and provide highly responsible and complex administrative and organizational support to the Planning and Community Services Director.Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. These hours may vary based on operational needs. Minimum Skills/Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree with major course work in urban planning, public administration, or a related field OR - Seven (7) years work experience in urban planning, community development, zoning, building code enforcement, law enforcement, public administration, or a related field AND - Five (5) years relate work experience with at least three (3) continuous years of this work history in a supervisory capacity. Supervisory experience should be within the past seven (7) years.- Current Montana driver's license or must be obtained within thirty (30) days of employment Preferred Qualifications include one or more of the following professional certifications: - American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) - American Association of Code Enforcement - International Code Council (ICC) - American Academy of Certified Public Managers (CPM), or similar professional certifications Equal Opportunity Employer.
