ROCKY MOUNTAIN COLLEGE COMMUNICATIONS & MULTIMEDIA COORDINATOR in BILLINGS, Montana

Rocky Mountain College, a small comprehensive institution grounded in the liberal arts, located in Billings, Montana, is accepting applications for a Communications and Multimedia Coordinator position. Key Responsibilities include: - Write engaging and informative content for RMC's website, blog, social media channels, newsletters, and other digital and print materials. - Develop content that aligns with RMC's brand voice and marketing strategies for use online and in printed materials. - Collaborate with academic and administrative departments to gather stories, news, and information to feature. - Capture high-quality photos and videos that highlight the RMC campus, events, students, faculty, and staff. - Edit photos and videos for use across various platforms, ensuring a consistent and professional look. - Manage and maintain RMC's digital media library. - Create visually appealing graphics for social media, web, print, and other marketing materials. - Ensure all designs adhere to RMC's brand guidelines and enhance the overall aesthetic of our communications. - Collaborate with the marketing team to develop creative concepts and campaigns. - Assist in managing RMC's social media accounts, including content scheduling, posting, and engagement. - Monitor social media trends and analytics to optimize content and increase audience engagement. - Provide on-site coverage for key campus events, including photography, videography, and live social media updates. - Create post-event content that showcases the highlights and impact of the event. Position Requirements: - A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience. - Must be self-directed and able to work well with students, faculty, and staff. - Experience in higher education is a plus. - Is curious, driven to tell impactful stories, able to prioritize and think strategically and able to see the big picture while keeping a close eye on the details. - Has proven ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and perform well on deadline as well as on long-term projects. - Proven experience in content creation, photography, videography, and graphic design. - Demonstrable proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects) and other relevant software. - Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
