Advanced Care Hospital of Montana is seeking a Full Time Cook to join our team!

$1,500 BONUS for Full Time!

PRN shifts also available!

Advanced Care Hospital of Montana, located in Billings MT, is a 40-bed facility providing long-term acute care services to patients recovering from serious illnesses or injuries. Often our patients require additional critical care services for medically complex conditions such as trauma, infectious diseases, wound healing, cardiovascular disease, stroke, amputation and ventilator weaning. As a smaller, specialized hospital, we offer an opportunity to work in a fast-paced and friendly work environment where you really get to know your patients and their families.

Performs a variety of duties necessary for the operation of a hospital food service department. Maintains high standards of food quality, nutritional value of food, sanitation, safety and presents food in an appetizing manner.

Qualifications/Skills:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Two (2) years of experience as a cook in lieu of education will be considered.

Food handling certification as required by State regulations.

Additional Qualifications/Skills:

Culinary arts training preferred.

Two (2) years of food service experience preferred, including a minimum of one (1) year of experience cooking and working in an institutional setting.

Therapeutic Diet experience preferred.

Ability to project a professional image.

Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.

Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.

Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.

Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.

Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.

Per Federal Health Care Worker Vaccine Requirements, all employees must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or be approved for a valid religious or medical exemption.
