Job Description

Experienced subject matter expert supporting overall Facets (Trizetto claims processing and benefits) application and workflow and the overall ClaimsXM Platform. Support business processes and solutions related to the needs of the specific business area for implementation, upgrades and ongoing operational support. Support system configuration, business configuration and administration of the Packaged Software along with customizations and participating in administrating designed solutions, system testing and system performance.


This position reports to the ClaimsXM Systems Manager

Essential Job Functions includes the following.

Serve as the subject matter expert for Facets application areas, including system architecture, usage and file structure, technical structure of the internal and third party system integrations, and structure of requirements that governs the functionality of the system.

Maintain all Packaged Software file configuration, including complex tasks from a troubleshooting and system layer integration perspective.

Plan and serve as a key liaison with vendors, business areas, and clients during development and implementation, but ultimately supporting operations of this system architecture.

Independently analyze business problems or opportunities; develop recommendations and solutions for those problems/opportunities, implement those solutions, and provide communications on the associated actions, business impacts, and results. Contribute to the completion of projects within the allocated time and budget.

Provide support and assistance to team staff members.

Perform system administration tasks, such as backups, restores, maintenance plans based on Facets process module(s), integrity checks, etc.

Creating automated functions, reports, and extracts to satisfy system audits and compliance regulatory requirements in support of core system/application and ancillary applications

Provide consultative support in analyzing business requirements / use cases / functional requirements in order to ensure the development of efficient enterprise solutions.

Perform analysis of current system usage of Package Software, customizations, subsystems and reports back to business areas regarding infrastructure improvements in process, system/data quality and results.

Support key components of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Support building solutions that support business needs.

System automation Development and Maintenance

Documentation -- writing system/technical specifications to ensure solution supports functional requirements.

Perform other related duties as necessary.

Knowledge, Experience, and Abilities:

Bachelor's or associate degree

5 years in general systems administration

Experience in system automation (ex. PowerShell, Terraform, Arm template deployments, Desired State Configuration, command line tasks)

1+ years of TriZetto Facets system administration.

If no degree, 7 years of experience in general systems administration and 2 years TriZetto Facets system integration/application administration.

Effective team member working toward company goals.

Azure administration a plus

System(s) level problem solving skills required

Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects

Ability to communicate effectively to a wide variety of audiences

Ability to function effectively in a fast paced environment

Ability to successfully perform job functions with minimal supervision

Citrix experience a plus

General Areas of Accountability:

The incumbent must be able to conduct business and personal affairs in a manner that is always a credit to the company.

Machines and Equipment:

The incumbent must be able to effectively operate the current computer system, telephone system, and other office machines such as copier and fax machines.

Physical Activity:

The incumbent must be able to finger, grasp, feel, see, sit, hear, and speak. The incumbent for this position must also be able to lift, move and set up common systems equipment.

Working Conditions:

The incumbent works in an office environment that is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions such as heat, cold, or extreme noise. Routine periods of being on the phone, sitting and data keying are required.

Remote Eligibility: This position is eligible for fulltime remote work. Eligibility is determined by Management or Human Resources.

Work Schedule

Regular Business Hours: Monday - Friday; 8 AM - 5PM
Our hours of operations for some service offerings will occur outside of regular business hours up to / including 24/7 coverage with the exception of federally recognized holidays.
This position may have on-call requirements.
