Intermountain Health Decontamination Tech in Billings, Montana
Job Description:
Provides hospital conference rooms with necessary A/V equipment and troubleshooting support. Offers basic assistance in the auditorium and other designated areas. Schedules and maintains appearance of education rooms. Sets up chairs and tables as needed for functions and provides basic clean up.
Schedule : Monday-Friday
Hours : Full-time 8:00am - 500pm
This position will also rotate through our on-call rotation. This is a one week shift to cover the hours outside of our normal operations and this takes place every 6 weeks
As a Decontamination Technician you need to know how to:
Sterilize equipment, wraps clean supplies and equipment and maintains records for all equipment;- Assembles equipment and rechecks all equipment for cleanliness and/or impairment;- Makes sure all equipment is properly maintained and all filters have been cleaned or exchanged;- Performs routine adjustments and calibrations on equipment- Assists with stocking and ordering supplies, assembling orders and performing deliveries and/or pick ups
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
Ability to communicate effectively and diplomatically within a multi-functional team
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to successfully function in a fast paced, service oriented environment
Experience in understanding and usage of computers as well as the ability to learn applications relevant to the position preferred

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
$16.83 - $21.88
