COR ENTERPRISES Direct Support Professional - DSP in BILLINGS, Montana
A Direct Support Professional is a person that provides supports and advocates for individual with a disability. General job duties include but not limited to: * Ensure all clients are treated with respect, patience, and dignity. *Following and respecting the rights of clients. *Engaging and motiving clients in joining daily activities. *Transporting clients to and from our facility as well as going on community outings *Participating in personal centered support plans, protocols, as well as, communicating with family members, support teams and case managers. *Participating in trainings related to CPR and 1st aide, College of Direct Supports and more valuable training as it relates to our clients. Qualifications: *Patience, active listening and empathy *A positive vocal advocate with professional communication skills *Must be over the age of 18 *High school diploma, HiSet/GED or suitable equivalence *Acceptable background *Valid driver's license, proof of insurance and acceptable driving record *Computer proficiency preferred. Shift: Monday through Friday, 8:15a-4:15p
