Working closely with the Foundation President, the Director is responsible for driving sustainable growth in giving by managing donor stewardship, planned giving, and major gift programs. The position requires strategic oversight to ensure these programs are executed consistently, comprehensively, and with precision.This role involves cultivating strong relationships with prospective and current donors, along with their financial and legal advisors, to foster long-term engagement and giving. The Director is accountable for the effective balance and management of various fundraising efforts, including annual giving, special events, grateful patient campaigns, planned giving, major gifts, and capital/endowment campaigns. A deep understanding of the fundraising landscape and specialized tools, particularly in planned giving, is essential. The Director also collaborates with key stakeholders, including the Foundation President, CEO, physicians, board members, and external professionals, to facilitate major gift requests and align short- and long-term goals with the organization's mission.Essential Job Functions* Collaborates with the Foundation President to lead the fundraising team in developing, refining, and enhancing fundraising programs that increase success and encourage giving. * Acts as a recognized expert in fundraising and planned giving within the Foundation and the broader community. * Supports the Foundation staff in program development, marketing, and setting fundraising priorities.
