Responsible for making our #1 critical success factor, safety first, a priority in all tasks and activities performed by self and all others involved. Responsible for the day-to-day operation of company equipment which is primarily used in a job site setting where the construction of telecommunications lines is being performed.
KEY SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Must be competent in the operation of heavy machinery which is typically used in the construction of telecommunications, including, but not limited to, a tractor, bulldozer, backhoe, forklift, or excavator. Responsible for inspecting equipment and ensuring equipment is safe and ready for operations. Knowledge of applicable codes and safety with ability to read maps. Must demonstrate commitment to safe work practices and knowledge of safety policies/procedures. Must be Union eligible, must join IBEW Local 532 prior to job offer. Must have a Class A Commercial Driver’s License with current Medical Exam card as well as First Aid/CPR Certification.
Job will likely require travel through out the state of Montana.
Must be able to perform all the essential functions required of the position either with or without reasonable accommodations.
