Bravera Wealth Advisors assess the financial needs and help with decisions on investments (such as stocks and bonds), tax laws, and insurance. Bravera Wealth Advisors help clients plan for short- and long-term goals, such as budgeting for education expenses and saving for retirement through investments. Duties include meeting with prospects and clients to establish their needs and obtain financial statements, using financial statements and legislation to develop financial plans to maximize profitability or reduce debts, and researching investment opportunities for clients. This position is responsible for contributing to the overall mission of Bravera Wealth and its affiliated companies by effectively and efficiently administering investment accounts, as well as developing new business opportunities. Advisors must commit themselves, not only to financial industry standards but also to the higher standards of fiduciary responsibility.Measures of SuccessBe a team player with a positive attitude fostering relationships inside and outside the organization.Explain to clients and prospects the types of financial services provided, as well as educating clients and answering questions regarding investment options and potential risks.Recommend investments to clients that best suit their objectives while working as a Fiduciary.Duties and ResponsibilitiesResponsible for understanding and acting in accordance with the legal responsibilities of a Fiduciary.Offer both brokerage and investment advisory services with American Portfolios (AP) through its subsidiaries: American Portfolios Financial Services, Inc. (APFS), a broker/dealer; and American Portfolios Advisors, Inc. (APA), a registered investment advisor.Responsible for the administration of accounts to insure the needs and goals of the client are met as established by the account document and company policies and procedures.Advises individuals and corporate clients of issues and trends concerning administration of personal wealth agency accounts, investment management agency accounts, IRA’s, or other employee benefit plans.Review reports of the investment account for consistency and accuracy.Analyze the financial information that clients have provided to create plans for achieving their financial objectives.Provide customers with advice on solutions for insurance protection, investment planning, cash management, and other areas to assist them to achieve their financial goals.Meet individually with customers about their costs, income, insurance coverage, financial goals, tax situation, risk tolerance, and other factors to gather the necessary data to create a financial planParticipates in presentations to employers, employee groups, and one-on-one participant education regarding investment options, as needed.Put financial strategies into action or recommend customers to experts who can assist them.Securing stocks and bonds, and like investments.Responsible for communication with and between customers and wealth company staff.Review of client accounts (investments and overall asset allocation) and making appropriate recommendations to the client, if applicable.Knowing and following current Bravera Wealth policies and procedures, as well as provide recommendations when needed.Must maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism regarding all employee and customer issues and information.Responsible for the development of new customers and additional business from existing wealth and bank customers.Actively creates sales opportunities with affiliated companies and other referral sources with an emphasis on procuring new business relationships for the RPS division within Wealth.Assist with the development and evaluation of new services and products to offer wealth company customers.Responsible for developing new business and promoting the organization in the community through participation in various civic and community events, activities, committees, and organizations.The employee will adhere to all wealth compliance and financial industry regulations, including but not limited to the requirements of the Bank Secrecy Act. In addition, the employee will be proactive in the prevention of illegal activities, will vigilantly look for activities that may constitute any type of fraud including money laundering, and will report any suspicious activity to the BSA Officer. Will be required to drive a company vehicle with some overnight travel required.  Must maintain a clear driving record in order to maintain coverage under Bravera’s vehicle insurance provider.  Contribute to the overall success of the organization by leveraging opportunities as they relate to all entities of Bravera Holdings Corp.PC proficiency in a windows environment required, including Word & Excel. Proficiency to learn and execute software associated with creating and maintaining client accounts.Professional communication both verbally and written.Aspire to the company aspiration to Learn, Teach, and Mentor.Secondary Duties and ResponsibilitiesObtain education to enhance skills as requested.Participate in or undertake various functions or projects, relating to Bravera Wealth issues as requested by management.Additional responsibilities to be determined by Subsidiary.QualificationsEducation: High school diploma with college degree in business administration, finance, accounting or related field preferred. Ability to pass background check.Licenses: FINRA Series 7, 66 (or equivalent) securities license, State Insurance License -Accident and Health, Variable Life and Annuity, Life and Annuity.Experience: Minimum of three years of financial services experience or related professional experience.Certain professional qualifications or the ability to obtain and maintain certain designations (CFP, etc.).Understanding of financial markets and portfolio management concepts, as well as applicable fiduciary law.Understanding of estate and financial planning, estate and gift taxes, taxation of wealth and individuals for the administration of personal wealth accounts, and understanding of ERISA and applicable regulations for administration of employee benefit accounts.Ability to communicate well with public, clients, company personnel, as well as the ability to work well with others and be a team player.LocationBillings, MTBenefitsTo support this, we provide a competitive and rewarding compensation package which includes a competitive salary, incentive compensation opportunities, retirement plan with company match, health insurance, paid holidays, paid time off (PTO), paid community volunteer time and stock opportunities.
