CITY OF BILLINGS GYM SUPERVISOR in BILLINGS, Montana
Gym Supervisor - $16.00 to $18.00 per hour - Six (6) Positions Available. Gym Supervisors will be responsible for performing pre/post game duties to ensure facilities are ready and safe for league play. Applicants should be familiar with the rules and bylaws of the respective sport. Gym Supervisors provide oversight of league games to maintain fair play and promote good sportsmanship. Candidate must have the ability to quickly evaluate information and make decisions and judgment calls. Applicants must be able to resolve conflicts and stay calm while handling disputes. Applicant must meet minimum age requirements and be able to work weekday evenings and Sundays. Schedule: Games can be Monday through Thursday night, Saturday during the day, and Sunday night, and there could be 3 - 4 games per session. Season runs early January to early April. Duties: Professional behavior before and after the sport events. Ensure cleanliness of the facility after activities. Communicate with coaches and umpires/referees, as well as supervising scorekeepers. Communicate team scores and other information to recreation staff. Requirements: - Enjoy working in activities. - Professional, confident, and capable of dealing with players, parents, officials, and fans. - Pass background check and pre-employment drug test. - Reliable transportation to and from games and training. - Must meet minimum age requirements. - Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
