WESTERN MUNICIPAL CONSTRUCTION INC HEAVY EQUIPMENT OPERATOR in BILLINGS, Montana
Western Municipal Construction is looking for experienced Heavy Equipment Operators to work on our heavy civil construction projects. We need operators for multiple types of equipment such as: Excavators, Front End Loaders, Skid Steer Loaders, Compaction Rollers, and many more. These roles require excellent proficiency in being an operator due to job site conditions being extremely congested with overhead power lines, all types of underground utilities, constricted alleyway work, road and pedestrian traffic, among many other safety concerns. You will be required to inspect and maintain your equipment on a daily basis and report any issues to you supervisor. If you have the experience, are reliable, able to work well under pressure, we'd like to meet you! Requirements: - Proven experience as a heavy equipment operator (water / sewer/ storm pipe installation is preferred) - Knowledge of local quality, safety, and health guidelines for construction job sites - In-depth understanding of construction operations and processes - Understanding soil condition and the effect they have on safety and compaction efforts - Great attention to detail - Pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening Wage: $31.00 per hour plus benefit pay ($14.00 per hour).
