Candidate is responsible for providing assistance in the secondary market function.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES including the following; other duties may be assigned.
Lock and enter mortgage loan commitments into the computer system as they are received by the Retail Loan Officers (LOs).
Answer all loan officer inquiries concerning lock and pricing concerns; Seek advice of Lock Desk Manager or Secondary Marketing Manager where needed.
Handle the majority of correspondence with LOs including but not limited to: questions regarding mortgage market conditions, status of lock, product availability, pricing renegotiations, complaints, and problem resolution.
When needed or as directed, check and input all investor loan fundings for accuracy and resolve any issues with the investors.
When needed or as directed, assist with the data input and site maintenance of the Product and Pricing engine as well as the Secondary section of the LOS.
Responsible for a "good delivery" of loan documents to the investor.
Input and transmit all pertinent loan information into the cash delivery software system.
Complete purchase advices timely, verify pricing and process general ledger entries.
Calculate Branch fees owed.
Maintain records of loan sales by branch.
Analyze and resolve problems prior to payment of Service Release Premiums.
Performing all assigned responsibilities in a manner that will ensure continued good relations with established contacts, and the development of good relations with new contacts.
Quote rates daily.
SECONDARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
May reconcile bank and general ledger accounts.
Perform various clerical duties including typing of correspondence, answering phones, taking messages, faxing, filing, and imaging.

EDUCATION &/OR EXPERIENCE
High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
OTHER SKILLS & ABILITIES
Individuals interested in this position must demonstrate working knowledge of personal computer, Word/Excel software programs; typing for accuracy with goals of no errors, particularly on loan documentation; typing skills to further include ability to produce business letters and memorandums; strong interpersonal communication skills; strong telephone skills; strong customer service skills; good time management and organizational skills; working knowledge of general ledger.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
This position requires compliance with the S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 and all related regulations. Employment is contingent upon meeting all such requirements, including acceptable background investigation results.
Valid driver's license is required.

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
