SUMMARY

The primary responsibilities of this role will be the ongoing management of First Interstate BancSystem's end user access to internal First Interstate banking system platforms. The IAM provisioner I will be responsible for documentation, administration, and end user support of access to these systems.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: other duties may be assigned.

  • Work out of the ticketing system queue and provision user access according to standardized procedures.
  • Complete provisioning tasks quickly and accurately.
  • Create and update provisioning guides as changes to systems and provision methods are updated.
  • Follow up with end users on access issues after provisioning is completed.
  • Update management on any known escalations that require management visibility.
  • Follow standardized policies and procedures for the creation, editing, and removal of access across all First Interstate banking platforms.
  • Provide a positive end user experience in any end user interactions with other First Interstate Bank employees when assisting in issue resolution.
  • Requires understanding the principals and concepts of bank operation, loan operations and financial principals.
  • Ability to stay informed of technology needs and regulations for all bank applications used at First Interstate Bank.
  • Required to understand concepts and principals of ta transactions service provider.
  • May be required to work after hours and weekends to accomplish work tasks.
  • Ability to work alone or in a diverse team environment in order to complete required tasks.
  • Ability to work with other groups and vendors within the First Interstate Bank organization to complete provisioning tasks and issue resolution.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

One year certificate from a college or technical school or minimum 3 years of experience or training in a banking or fintech environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

OTHER SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

  • Understanding of Microsoft based solutions including Microsoft(s) Active Directory, Group Policy, Windows File and Print Services, DNS, System Center Configuration Manager
  • Understanding of Microsoft PowerShell and Command Prompt.
  • Understanding of programming languages such as SQL and Java a plus.
  • Must be able to work with limited supervision.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload.
  • Ability to solve complex problems independently.
  • Must be a self-starter and detail oriented
  • Must be able to implement new products and services without established guidelines.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Strong communication skills are critical to allow effective communication with customers to build positive, professional relationships and to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, vendors and internal customers.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand and sit. The employee is occasionally required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
