BILLINGS SCHOOL DISTRICT 2 INDIGENOUS MENTOR & CULTURAL SPECIALIST in BILLINGS, Montana
Billings School District 2 is seeking an Indigenous Education Mentor and Cultural Specialist. Schedule: 9 months; Full Time; 8 hours per day; Monday - Friday Wage: $17.13 per hour for 90 workday probationary period; then $19.03 per hour. Qualifications: - Experience with American Indian students and families. - Ability to work with students to strengthen and improve their academic performance and attendance. - Ability to work with students, schools, families, multiple departments/agencies. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Requires a High School graduate or equivalent and 60 semester/90 quarter college credits or successful completion of the WorkKeys test to meet requirements of Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA). - Associates degree or two years college in related fields preferred. Minimum education level required is 60 semester credits from an accredited college/university or take the WorkKeys Test at the Lincoln Center, Adult Education, for $60.00.
