Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare documents, such as work orders, bills of lading, or shipping orders, to route
Confer or correspond with establishment representatives to rectify problems, such as damages, shortages, or nonconformance to
Pack, seal, label, or affix postage to prepare materials for shipping, using hand tools, power tools, or postage meter.
Contact carrier representatives to arrange or to issue instructions for shipping and delivery of
Deliver or route materials to departments using hand truck, conveyor, or sorting
Requisition and store shipping materials and supplies to maintain inventory of
Determine shipping methods, routes, or rates for materials to be
Compute amounts, such as space available, shipping, storage, or demurrage charges, using computer or price list.
Compare shipping routes or methods to determine which have the least environmental
Use appropriate software system to verify status of
Actively participate in continuous improvement of our products and processes to better serve our customers and improve the overall profitability of MRL Equipment
Maintain a neat and orderly work area complying with all 5S
Perform other duties, assignments, and special projects as
Follow and comply with all safety and personal protective equipment
Will be performing all DOT inspections on incoming chassis.
Education and Work Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
Must have a current CDL
A minimum of 1-year work related experience working in inventory/receiving.
A minimum of 1-year experience working under DOT regulations, performing inspections on equipment.
Be able to lift a maximum of 50
Must be able to pass Forklift Certification process
Possess basic computer operating and data entry skills with knowledge of shipping
Ability to use pallet jack and overhead crane
Must be able to pass a background check and pass a drug screening. (we do not test for THC)
