YELLOWSTONE COUNTY JUVENILE CARE WORKER (FILL-IN) in BILLINGS, Montana
This is a direct care position supervising adolescents and providing care in a secure environment. Flexible scheduling based on availability. Shifts available include days, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays, 7 days per week. The ideal candidate is looking for part-time work and wants to gain experience working with youth. Examples of Duties: - Conducts youth intake interviews and continues to regularly document youth behaviors and emotional status; - Provides basic care and supervision to youth; - Monitors and assesses the behavioral and emotional characteristics of referred youth and provides counseling or additional supervision to prevent self-harm as needed; - Regularly communicates orally and in writing any changes to youth to all members of the youth care facility. Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma with a clean criminal record and driving record. At least three (3) years work history as an adult with three (3) references.
