Humana Lead, Technology and Cybersecurity Risk - Business Managed Technology in Billings, Montana
Description
The Lead, Technology and Cybersecurity Risk defines the standard for Humana's cybersecurity and technology-related risk management approach and identifies and reports on related risk. This Lead is primarily focused on identification, risk assessment, monitoring, and controls for Citizen Development (aka IT Outside of IT, aka User Development Outside of IT (UDOIT)). You will work on problems of diverse scope and complexity, ranging from moderate to substantial. You will lead high impact initiatives within IT as well as cross-functionally across Humana. Expect there to be special projects, metrics and reporting, contribution to strategy, process definition and implementation, and meeting facilitation with leadership across Humana. You will research new detection and monitoring channels for IT Outside of IT, assist in development of operational strategy for IT Outside of IT governance, and develop and implement processes to assess and mitigate risks. This position is responsible for the IT Outside of IT (aka User Development Outside of IT - UDOIT) Governance, Risk and Compliance efforts for technology use outside the controls of IT. It will involve strategy, mentoring, knowledge share, and fostering collaboration.
Responsibilities
The Lead, IT Risk and Compliance - Business Managed Technology works with leaders in all parts of IT and the business to identify risks, ensuring that the appropriate controls exist and operate effectively, and that risks related to the technology are communicated and understood. You will design, develop, and perform information security and technology risk assessments based on defined intervals and threat landscape. You will develop and oversee cybersecurity and technology-related risk management initiatives, programs, and projects for Humana. This Lead exercises independent judgment and performs decision making on complex issues, requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action, and works under minimal supervision. You will leverage various methods of detecting IT Outside of IT and take action with business and IT partners to mitigate risk. This position is responsible for the IT Outside of IT Governance, Risk and Compliance efforts for technology development and/or support outside the controls of IT. This position is responsible for mentoring, knowledge share, and fostering collaboration across the team.
In this position, you will:
Work with senior management across Humana including VPs and above to understand business managed technology and prepare detailed and thorough recommendations on findings and methods to mitigate risk
Contribute to the development and implementation of risk detection capabilities
Monitor processes and results for efficiency, quality and drive evolution of processes and strategy to meet changing needs
Perform risk assessments and review of controls, identifying risks related to business managed technology
Lead various IT Outside of IT cross functional (across Humana) efforts to reduce technology risk
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
8+ years of technical and business experience
2+ years of project leadership experience
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
Solid understanding of diverse technologies, software and citizen development capabilities
Ability to work well under pressure to meet deadlines
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Process development and implementation experience
Experience collaborating, influencing and facilitating meetings with Director level and above
Ability to demonstrate advanced emotional, situational, and social intelligence
Preferred Qualifications
Prior demonstrated experience with audit, compliance or assurance
Possess a solid understanding of Humana's operations, technology, communications and processes
Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic and changing environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously
Past experience with Shadow IT, Citizen Development, or Digital Transformation
Project management/leadership experience
Experience working in both business operations and technology

Associates who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.
Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.
