CITY OF BILLINGS LIFEGUARD / LEARN TO SWIM INSTRUCTOR in BILLINGS, Montana
Lifeguard / Learn to Swim Instructor - $15.50 per hour - Fifty-five (55) Positions Available. Work Schedule: 20 - 40 hours per week, varies daily. Pool is open Monday through Sunday (weather permitting). Half day shifts are available. Flexible work schedule. Are you passionate about water safety and teaching kids how to swim? Do you have the skills and energy to create a safe and fun environment at the pool? Join our team as a Lifeguard / Learn to Swim Instructor and play a key role in ensuring both safety and enjoyment for swimmers this summer! As a Lifeguard / Learn to Swim Instructor, you'll provide a safe and positive pool experience for all swimmers while teaching essential swimming skills. You'll be responsible for supervising the pool area, leading swim lessons, and making sure all participants enjoy a safe, educational environment. What We're Looking For: - Must meet minimum age requirements. - Strong communication skills, energetic personality, and a passion for working with children. - Lifeguards must demonstrate dependability, confidence, and a strong commitment to public safety. - Ability to provide leadership and be a positive role model for children. - Must be reliable, energetic, and have a no-nonsense attitude when it comes to pool safety. - Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test. - Must possess Lifeguard Certification Why Apply? - Gain valuable experience in water safety, swimming instruction, and customer service. - Play a key role in making sure kids learn to swim in a safe, fun environment!
