This includes but is not limited to domestic water systems, waste systems, gas systems, and plumbing fixtures. Maintenance of Hot Water Boiler Systems. Welding and Fabrication.Major Functions with expected results :•Perform general plumbing services including new construction, remodels, maintenance of plumbing systems.•Operate and maintain Hot Water Boilers•Operate and maintain Low Pressure Steam Boilers•Estimate plumbing work and projects•Welding and Fabrication DutiesRequired Qualifications - Experience, Education, Knowledge & Skills•Journeyman level knowledge and abilities of Plumbing.•Boiler Operator’s License•Knowledge and skills in the maintenance of boilers•Must be able to read blueprints•Ability to perform computer operations•Ability to write descriptions and perform as - built prints•Weld using Arc, MIG, TIG, Brazing, and Soldering•Able to cut with torch, CAC and hand tools•Maintain a valid Montana Driver’s License.•Hold and maintain a masters Plumbers license with the State of Montana.•Maintain a Montana Journeyman Plumbing License•Maintain a Montana Boiler Operator’s License•Maintain a Montana Certified Pool Operator’s LicensePhysical Demands. This information is needed to assist the University in meeting these regulations.)•Requires tenuous physical labor; some heavy lifting, bending, stooping, climbing, and working in some inclement weather.•Position will require working from ladders, scaffolding and heights.•Position will require working in crawl spaces, enclosed areas, under floors, and overhead in and outside of drop ceilings.•Job hazards will be working with power equipment.
