Applied Industrial Technologies Maintenance / Warehouse in Billings, Montana

Overview:

Use your general shop knowledge and mechanical aptitude in our Billings repair shop.

In this position you will be involved in maintenance, painting, palletizing, shop work, and some warehouse work..

Responsbilities:

Prep and paint repair work to be returned to customers. This includes spray air paint guns and rattle cans

Build pallets/boxes to ensure product is delivered without damage

Maintain the strip tanks (tanks we use to take the paint off of parts being repaired)

Clean/degrease repair work upon arrival

Basic janitorial assignments for the shop

Office and shop garbage

Clean chips for the mill and lathes

Help with housekeeping to ensure safe pathways (cylinder/parts storage)

Assist in warehouse duties to include:

in picking parts for service/sales

cycle counting (the new process is going to be an undertaking

assist in invoicing sales/service orders (directly or indirectly)

Requirements

1+ yr proven hands on warehouse work experience

Basic computer and math skills

Mechanical aptitude

Attention to detail, ability to multi-task, problem solve. Accuracy, sense of urgency

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

High School Diploma or GED

Forklift experience a plus
