Description

Responsible for procuring and selling all materials required to support company operations. Responsible for identifying growth strategies and bidding projects. Identifies, networks and recommends potential business partners and clientele. Assist customers in choosing the correct products to fit their needs and perform material quotes for clients. Perform quantity take-offs for project estimation purposes. Create invoices for projects as needed. Provide direction and oversight to shop and warehouse personnel. Responsible for placing safety as #1 priority in day-to-day work routine for self and others.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Associate's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Five years related experience preferred.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • NACE CP-1
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
  • Must take all measures necessary to protect networks, devices, programs and data from cyber-attack, damage or unauthorized access.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States, no sponsorships considered.
  • May be required to maintain a valid driver's license.
  • Subject to pre-employment drug testing and background checks.
  • Requires travel: Moderate (up to 20%)
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Procure and sell materials requested by both internal and external customers, track shipments, monitor job status.
  2. Assist customers in choosing the correct products to fit their needs and create the associated material quotes and invoices.
  3. Actively research project opportunities that support the Company growth strategy and enhance overall company earnings.
  4. Prepares project bids for materials projects and responsible for requesting pricing from vendors.
  5. Coordinates with appropriate internal departments for quantity takes offs and estimates for construction related projects.
  6. Perform marketing functions, attend trade shows, build customer relations.
  7. Performs other tasks and special projects as assigned.
