Billings Clinic Medical Oncologist in Billings, Montana
Billings Clinic, a Billings, MT based multi-specialty clinic is seeking a Medical Oncologist. Responsibilities include: Admits, diagnoses, and provides treatment and consultative services to adolescent and adult patients presenting with malignant tumors. When medically appropriate, performs bone marrow aspiration and biopsy, thoracentesis, paracentesis, Apheresis, Therapeutic Phlebotomy, and Autologous Stem Cell Transplantation. Administers chemotherapeutic agents and biological response modifiers through all therapeutic routes, and manages/maintains indwelling venous access catheters. Requirements: Graduation from an approved medical school, successful completion of a 3-year residency in internal medicine; successful completion of ACGME or AOS approved residency in Hematology or Oncology. Presently licensed in the State of Montana as a physician or eligible to receive a license. Certification by the American Board of Hematology/Oncology or American Osteopathic Board of Hematology/Oncology within 5 years of the completion of training or within 3 years of initial hire.
