We are currently seeking highly motivated individuals that have a strong desire to train to become a certified John Deere diesel technician. The apprenticeship program is a 1 year training program that requires both on-the-job and online training to become a certified John Deere diesel technician. Basic qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, a strong desire to become a diesel technician, availability to work full time and a great work ethic. Preferred qualifications include a mechanical background, experience in the agricultural industry and working on John Deere products. This is a contracted training program in collaboration with the State of South Dakota.
