Operator Trainers provide high quality technical support, training and warranty claim processing for all Parts and Services Division (PSD) and Rock Drilling Tools Division (RDT) related products and services. They achieve growth initiatives by focusing on improved customer satisfaction through effective communication and partnership with the goal to achieve best service provider status among all current and prospective customers.
The work environment includes being regularly exposed to work near moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles and outdoor weather conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places, toxic or caustic chemicals and risk of electrical shock. Noise protection is required in this role. Successful candidates must be able to sit for extended periods if needed, use hands to feel, reach with hands and arms and verbal communication and hearing capabilities. This position is considered Safety Sensitive.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for supporting PSD Service Centers, Business Lines, Sales Organization,Product Companies, Product Support Technicians, Dealer Partners and end usersfor underground PSD product operation training
Consistent portrayal of safe and efficient practices aligned with underground hardrock mining operations, terminology and communication techniques
Provide high quality service, safety and operational training on all Epiroc PSDproducts and services as requested for operators, mechanics and other internal and external customers
Participate in the creation, documentation and implementation of operationstraining to assist service centers, dealers and customers to achieve increased levelsof efficiency and productivity
Utilize Epiroc published documentation wherever applicable in order to present aconsistent and repeatable message to customers, aligned with the Epiroc globaltraining standard strategy
Participate inCapital Equipment and RDT testing, to maximize product value for thecustomeras needed
Maintain Epiroc Superior Standards through training and mentoring of all localEpiroc personnel with a focus that is consistent with our company's culture andmanagement philosophy
Communicate all relevant training activities to work in partnership with all Epirocgroups and customers to sustain product integrity
Prepare necessary information as requested whether routine or for specialoccasions, while maintaining alignment with Epiroc Technical Information Services(TIS) documentation
Work to understand and utilize information and communication systems and tools,i.e. e-mail, DocMine, SAP, BPCS, Microsoft Office software, etc.
Act on behalf of peer group members in their absence as and when called uponto do so by either design or circumstance
Verify that the correct responsible departments are involved in the development ofprocedures to ensure that all US Customer Center (US CC) business process and technical support activities are performed in accordance with Epiroc published documentation standards
Drive product operational feedback up to the responsible Divisions through the useof Epiroc reporting systems such as WOL, ACIGN, personal communication andproduct counsel mediums
Requirements:
Demonstrable combination of education and work experience with underground mining equipment and process. Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline is preferred
Credentialed technical abilities or ability to achieve Epiroc credentials; pretesting may be part of the selection process
Five years' minimum of related work experience in underground mining equipment industries
Experience with industrial/commercial diesel engine, pneumatic, fluid power and low voltage electrical control systems is preferred
High level understanding of the underground material extraction (mining) processes as well as application knowledge of drilling, blasting, bolting, excavating and material handling associated with the previously mentioned processes
Must possess an active, valid driver's license
Maintain required US Department of Labor (MSHA) and Safe Start Training Certificates, or agree to complete the training program(s) needed to acquire the Training Certificates
Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills
Intermediate level of computer proficiency (MS Office)
Ability to work within a team, or independently as needed and be a self-starter
Travel is expected, amount will be dependent on employee location relative to the US service centers, dealers and customer locations, with both driving and air as the primary modes, through mainly the domestic US with potential for some international travel
Residence or relocation to the Billings, MT area is required

Pay Range:
$90,250 - $119,052 per year (This is asalariedposition. Compensation determination based upon job related factors, such as experience, education, geographic locationand other criterion).
