Wyo-Ben Pet is a new division of Wyo-Ben Inc. where we focus on the packaging of clumping cat litter. Wyo-Ben Pet’s new facility uses state-of-the-art equipment and offers a clean and safe work environment for employees which enables a critical focus on high quality finished product.

We operate 24 hours a day, 5 days a week.
Must have the ability to work any shifts and any days.
This may include rotating shifts – day, evening, night.
Starting wage $20.80
The Operator’s main purpose is to package and prepare various products for shipping. Bags must be filled correctly and palletized efficiently and in an orderly manner. Support Wyo-Ben’s effort for quality excellence.
Specific responsibilities may include:
Stock appropriate bags by manual or automated operations.
Fill the appropriate bags to designated weight.
Place filled bags by hand or machine in proper stacking configuration on pallets.
Operate a forklift to transport products and suppliers to the proper location.
Shrink wrap all finished good pallets.
Must cross train on multiple stations/machines/equipment.
Interact with department supervisors, managers, and other co-workers.
Work under close supervision and/or by following work instructions/standard operating procedures including safety rules and quality specifications.
Support and participate in the organizations Continual Improvement Program and Quality Management System.
Clean up and maintain a clutter free workspace.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Education and training:
- Must be able to read, write, and perform basic math functions.
Experience:
- No experience required – will train on the job.
Knowledge and Skills:
Problem solving skills: ability to identify source of problem; execute solution and document the issue; escalate to management.
Peer-to-peer and employee-to-supervisor communication skills and interpersonal skills.
Maintain accurate count of production and materials used.
Forklift handling skills.
Must be able to multi-task.
Physical and Safety Requirements:

Standing, walking, bending, and climbing 8-10 hours per day and at significant heights on catwalks.
Able to repetitively lift 50 lbs., throughout the shift., and occasionally pushes/pull or lift (team lift) up to 100 lbs.
Exposure to moving machinery and mobile equipment, including electrical and electronic equipment.
Subject to dust, noise, fragrances, and temperature variations.
Intermittent handling of heavy materials when using automated packaging equipment.
Must comply with any safety or PPE requirements.
Ability to work a flexible schedule/ any shifts as needed.
