Intermountain Health Paramedic Ground Transport in Billings, Montana
Job Description:
Provides comprehensive assessment and care to include both basic life support and advance life support for patients at location and during medical transport. Incorporates mission of Intermountain Health.
Scope:
Provide assessment and treatment of patient’s physical and psychosocial needs upon initial assessment and provide appropriate stabilization of patient at location and during transport.
Be part of a team that provides our patients with safe treatment and transport to and from locations.
Work with outside agencies and patient care providers to provide appropriate care for treatment and transport of patients.
Be able to lift and move patients safely.
Have good communication skills with patients, family members, other patient care providers, and communication center.
Operating knowledge of specific medical equipment, such as EKG monitor and defibrillator, mechanical ventilator, IV pumps ect…
Operating knowledge of progressive protocols to treat patients in all age groups with medical/trauma conditions.
Ability to drive large vehicles safely. Maintains clean driving record. Be able to be EVOC certified.
Maintains cleanliness and inventory of ambulances.
Minimum Qualifications:
Montana State and National Registry Licensure or eligible to obtain.
1 year of Paramedic experience in ground ambulance transporting service.
Basic life support (BLS)
Advance cardiac life support (ACLS)
Pediatric Advance life support (PALS)
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) with In 12 months of hire
FEMA 100 and 200.b upon hire.
Advance Trauma life support (ATLS) audit or Transport Professional Advance Trauma Course (TPATC) or Prehospital Trauma life support (PHTLS) with in 2 years of hire.
Critical care transport Paramedic (CCP) within 2 years of hire.

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
$17.77 - $30.54
