Your day.

As a Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) in our Walk-In Care clinics, you'll work collaboratively with a team ofWalk-In Careproviders, to provide top-notch care and patient experience.

Throughout the day you'll have the opportunity to collaborate with your fellow Walk-in care providers at other locations, 1-2 collaborative physicians, and support staff during your shift.

  • You would practice at all of our walk-inlocations.

  • The Walk-In Clinic is open 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

  • You will work in a busy practice that has supportive colleagues, consulting physicians, and nursing staff.

  • You'll be a part of an newer practice that is continuing to grow.

  • You'll have excellent mentorship from your supervising/collaborative physician.

Your experience.

We hire people, not words on paper. But we also expect excellence, which is why we require:

  • An active Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) License by the MT State Board.

  • Prescriptive Authority by the MT state board of Nursing or Medical Examiners and DEA License.

  • At least 3 years of walk-in care / urgent care experience preferred.

  • Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association.

  • ACLS Certification within 6 months of employment (site specific).

It's also a big plus if you have:

  • Ability to communicate effectively and diplomatically within a multi-functional team.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to successfully function in a fast paced, service oriented environment.

  • Experience in understanding and usage of computers, including Microsoft and Google products. The ability to learn new applications relevant to your position.

Physical Requirements:

Ongoing need for employee to see and read information, labels, assess patient needs, operate monitors, identify equipment and supplies.

- and -

Frequent interactions with patient care providers, patients, and visitors that require employee to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information, alarms, needs, and issues quickly and accurately, particularly during emergency situations.

- and -

Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy. This includes frequent computer use and typing for documenting patient care, accessing needed information, medication preparation, etc.

- and -

Expected to lift and utilize full range of movement to transfer patients. Will also bend to retrieve, lift, and carry supplies and equipment. Typically includes items of varying weights, up to and including heavy items.

- and -

Need to walk and assist with transporting/ambulating patients and obtaining and distributing supplies and equipment. This includes pushing/pulling gurneys and portable equipment, including heavy items. Often required to navigate crowded and busy rooms (full of equipment, power cords on the floor, etc.).

- and -

May be expected to stand in a stationary position for an extended period of time.

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

$49.86 - $76.93
