CTG’s premier global pharmaceutical and nutritional products manufacturing client located in Berkeley, CA is looking for anAssociate Recruiterfor an hourly contract.
This can be a remote position - However candidate must be flexible with hours since this position will be supporting the east and west coast.
The position is responsible for all aspects of the talent acquisition process and internal job opportunities program, which result in the selection of the best talent for the Client US organization. This includes but is not limited to: selling the Client employment brand to candidates and employees, identifying areas to source qualified candidates, executing sourcing strategies to attract candidates, ensuring EEO compliance activities, counseling managers on position specific recruiting and selection topics, background checks and initial offer activities.
Major Tasks & Responsibilities
Ability manage all aspects of the recruiting process, including candidate selection and offer negotiation for non-exempt through senior-level supervisory/management positions
Attend career fairs and other company and/or industry events
Ensure compliance to country specific legal implications from recruiting activities (ex. EEO compliance – development of outreach activity strategy)
Educate managers on all aspects of the recruiting process, including a compliant use of the applicant tracking system; accuracy of job postings; identification of qualified candidates based on business requirements and behavioral competencies
Utilize corporate applicant tracking system in a compliant manner to manage the recruitment process, ensuring a high level of integrity into the system
Perform behavioral, competency and skill-based interviews to assess candidate qualifications against agreed upon position requirements and competencies
Partner with the recruiting operations group to ensure high quality delivery of process effectiveness, which includes system integrity, work authorization, and administrative quality
Minimum Requirements
B.A./B.S. with 4+ years of recruiting experience, OR high school diploma/G.E.D. with 10-12 years applicable recruiting experience; combination of agency and corporate recruiting experience is preferred
Demonstrated experience managing a high requisition portfolio while maintaining customer service standards
Understanding of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEOC) guidelines related to sourcing and selection
Demonstrated experience using resume databases, internet search tools and/or social networking to find and attract top talent
Demonstrated ability to instill trust, analyze and solve problems while anticipating the needs of our business partners
Ability to handle delicate or difficult situations with finesse; ability to work under stress
Ability to manage partnerships with TAA
Team oriented and cooperative (basis for handling multiple priorities across business units)
Ability to use a wide range of information sources in reviewing the recruiting and compliance strategies
Some experience managing through difficult situations
