State of Montana Resource Family Specialist (37446) in Billings, Montana

The Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS) has a career opportunity within the Child and Family Services Division. The role of the Resource Family Specialist (RFS) is to develop resource families (foster, kinship, guardianship, adoptive) from initial inquiry about becoming a resource for children in need of homes to recruitment, retention, licensing, problem resolution, technical assistance, and case management. Qualifications for this Career Opportunity * * * Strong knowledge of Child Welfare practices. * Ability to work effectively in emotionally charged environments. * Ability to analyze diverse and large amounts of information and evaluate results. * Meet minimum qualifications: o Bachelor’s degree in Human Service’s or a related field. o One year experience working in professions related to providing services for children or recruitment.
