Shift: Day, Evenings, Nights, Weekends

Employment Status: Full-Time (.75 or greater)

Hours per Pay Period: 0.90 = 72 hours (Non-Exempt)

Starting Wage: $28.64/hr

We are a not-for-profit and physician led integrated multispecialty group practice with over 400 physicians and advanced practitioners caring alongside our nursing staff for patients in our 304-bed hospital and clinic with over 50 specialties.

Billings Clinic has carefully developed a nurse residency program which assists new registered nurses bridge the gap in the transition from student to a competent, professional nurse over their first year of practice. Our nurse residency program offers a supportive environment which allows our new nurses to gain the knowledge, skills, and confidence which are vital components in the care of our patients. All new grads or nurses with less than 1 year of RN experience that are offered a position are required to participate in a Nurse Residency Program and will be assigned to one of three Residency Cohorts (spring, summer, fall).

JOB DUTIES:

Under general supervision, utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation, and theoretical/clinical skills in the promotion and maintenance of health. Incorporates evidence-based nursing practices consistent with national standards and which support quality outcomes. Assumes great responsibility and accountability for the quality of nursing care rendered. Directs the activities of nursing and ancillary caregivers while maintaining standards of professional care.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred, required for some units

  • Current Montana State license as a registered nurse required

  • Healthcare Provider CPR Certification required

    THIS POSITION MAY BE ELIGIBLE FOR AN EMPLOYMENT INCENTIVE

    Associate (or Diploma) RNs hired into this position must commit to completing their Bachelor of Nursing within 4 years of the hire date. Billings Clinic will help support the cost through financial assistance.
