Sundown Security is a family-owned and operated company based in Billings, Montana. We're hiring Security and Safety Professionals who care about making Billings a safer place. We have immediate openings for unarmed and armed Security Guards for night post/patrol in Downtown Billings and the greater Billings area. We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented employee who is flexible, has good judgment, and exceptional problem-solving skills to join our team. On-the-job training and licensing support will be provided. Minimum requirements include: - Ability to pass a federal background check. (More details available during the interview.) - A Montana driver's license (or the ability to obtain one) with an insurable driving record. - Ability to successfully complete a drug screen upon hire. We are a Drug Free Workplace. - Customer service and/or security experience. - The ability to perform physical activities such as walking, standing, speaking, listening, and observing. - Able to lift up to 50 pounds. - Demonstrated competence in oral and written communication. - Must be organized, attentive to detail, and possess a positive, friendly, and professional demeanor. - Have exceptional customer service. - Able to deal tactfully with all situations, be open-minded, listen to others, and follow the rules. - Able to handle emergencies efficiently and with a calm demeanor. - Demonstrate critical thinking, judgment, and decision-making skills. - Experience in courier/delivery driving, security positions, military, or law enforcement is a plus. - High school diploma or equivalent (preferred). - A Montana security guard license and/or firearm endorsement (preferred). Wage: Salary ranges from $34,000 to $40,000 per year (paid by the hour) based on experience. Hours: Full-time and part-time positions are available, with early evening and overnight shifts. Overtime is occasionally required. Shifts may include evenings, overnight, holidays, and weekends. Equal Opportunity Employer.
