C.H. Robinson Senior People Analytics Consultant in Billings, Montana
C.H. Robinson is looking for a Senior People Analytics Consultant to join the team! In this role, you’ll be the go-to person for leadership when it comes to people data and analytics, helping to shape key HR projects and drive smart, data-backed decisions. You’ll combine your expertise in people data, business intelligence tools, and talent processes with a strong understanding of HR strategy and initiatives. From start to finish, you’ll lead advanced analytics projects, collaborating closely with business leaders and HR partners. Your ability to stay on top of priorities and connect the dots will play a big role in advancing talent strategies and improving the employee experience.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following:
Product Marketing
Oversee product development and update dependent teams on progress and performance
Prioritize enhancement requests through stakeholder and customer input
Promote and drive adoption of analytical tools
Represent product performance and impact to senior leadership
Manage customer feedback to inform product engineering teams
Outreach & Collaboration
Represent analytics for a division and align with company strategy and initiatives
Participate in and drive discussions in senior leadership forums
Build relationships to consult and deliver effective solutions
Collaborate with internal teams to develop predictive solutions
Analysis
Deliver insights to HRBPs and senior leaders, identifying opportunities proactively
Extract and interpret data to address complex questions
Support initiatives with tailored reporting and statistical modeling
Synthesize data into actionable insights
Reporting
Prioritize and guide analytical reporting needs for the division
Define metrics and advise on data structures for improved reporting
Develop and influence custom reports using business knowledge
Incorporate external data and combine disparate sources to deliver impactful, actionable content
Project Management
Manage large-scale analytical projects end-to-end with a user-focused approach
Communicate progress, escalate issues, and ensure deliverables meet expectations
Lead change management confidently and assertively, challenging appropriately when needed
Ensure projects are completed on time and with quality outcomes
Data Governance
Understand and adhere to confidentiality and privacy rules
Safeguard company property and confidential information
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
Minimum 4 years of analytics experience
Intermediate proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets
Minimum 1 year of experience presenting findings to leadership
Intermediate experience with report creation using Microsoft tools
Ability to travel up to 10%
Preferred :
Advanced degree in analytics or supply chain
Experience in quantitative/qualitative research and statistical methodologies (e.g., regression, clustering, tree models)
Strong storytelling skills to interpret and communicate data insights effectively
Proven ability to manage projects, lead discussions, and influence outcomes
Comfortable facilitating analytics discussions with senior leadership
Skilled communicator across various mediums and a bridge between data, reporting, and business needs
Experience with product teams, HR functions (e.g., Talent Acquisition, Compensation), and Workday systems
Knowledge of programming languages (Python, R) and advanced BI tools (Qlikview, Tableau)
Ability to build strong relationships with business partners and foster open, collaborative conversations

Compensation Range
$71,800.00 - $149,200.00
