Full-Time (.75 or greater)

Under minimal supervision of the Radiologists and the Lead Diagnostic Imaging Technologist, the Special Procedures Technologist is responsible for performing diagnostic and interventional procedures, (including diagnostic and interventional angiograms and nonvascular interventional procedures throughout the imaging department) transporting patients and providing clinical clerical support. Ensures maintenance of equipment by reporting malfunctions and assists in departmental supply acquisition. Performs quality angiographic and interventional services at the request of physicians utilizing a wide variety of specialized equipment and machinery.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Graduate of a recognized approved American Medical Association Council of Education program in radiological technology.

Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.

Registry in Cardiovascular – Interventional Technology preferred.

One year experience as Diagnostic Imaging Technologist, preferred.

Current Montana license as a Radiology Technologist.

Health Care Provider CPR certification.
