Humana Strategy Advancement Advisor in Billings, Montana


Healthcare is rapidly changing and we're looking for a Strategy Advancement Advisor to provide strategic direction and lead initiatives to identify and address business issues and opportunities. The Strategy Advancement Advisor brings together an external vision -- to succeed in the marketplace -- with an internal focus -- to operationalize company strategy. The Strategy Advancement Advisor will lead efforts on clinical strategy and prioritize initiatives to advance HGB strategic outlook 18-24+ months out setting mid-term direction and bringing goals it to life. The role will have the responsibility of positively influencing key partners and stakeholders that can include internal and external clinical leaders as well as leaders of other segments and functions.

  • This Leader will support the alignment of clinical, network and market operations at corporate, regional and market levels to ensure effective execution of the organization's ability to achieve high-value care and clinical quality and population health outcomes

  • The leader will collaborate closely with associates in Clinical Strategy and Quality to develop data-driven, technology-enabled enterprise-wide solutions that improves health outcomes and member experience.

  • The leader will provide oversight to Utilization Management, Clinical Quality Management, Case Management, Disease Management, and Credentialing

  • This Leader will represent Humana Government Business, Inc. in clinical issues to DHA, subcontractors, and parent company through presentations, meetings, and reports

Who You Are:

You bring to the organization the following competencies:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 7 or more years in large-scale Healthcare organization

  • 5 or more years of Process Improvement, Healthcare Quality and Project Leadership experience leading and managing teams to execute on complex projects

  • Proficiency in business consulting and/or operational leadership experience

  • Must be passionate about contributing to an organization & focused on continuously improving consumer experiences Ability to interact with and defend position with senior management

  • Must have a Strong Business and Financial Acumen

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly build rapport at all levels within the organization

  • Comprehensive knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, Outlook, Project and Visio

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree


  • Clinician - Physician, Nurse, Healthcare Consultant preferred

  • Knowledge of Company's networks, clinical and business analytics

  • PMP

  • Lean Six Sigma certification and experience
