Ulteig Engineers, Inc. Substation CAD Technician II in Billings, Montana
Ulteig is currently seeking qualified candidates for a CAD Technician II. The CAD Technician supports an assigned group of engineers by providing technical drafting support and creating construction drawings/designs.
What You'll Do
Successful candidates will complete demolition, design and construction drafting work, related to electrical schematics, physical panels/cabinets, and communications diagrams. Candidates must have strong attention to detail and work well within a team.
What We Expect from You
Two-year technical degree or currently enrolled in school for Technical Drafting.
Minimum of 2 years' experience.
Knowledge of AutoCAD is required.
Knowledge of MicroStation is a plus.
Knowledge of 3D modeling a plus.
Knowledge of 3D modeling software a plus.
Knowledge of electrical protection and controls or hydraulics would be beneficial.
Proven experience in Microsoft Office Applications.
Knowledge of hydroelectric facilities or medium-voltage electrical protection and controls would be beneficial.
Excellent organization and communication skills to ensure projects are completed on schedule.
Must have permanent authorization to work in US.
