Surgical Technologist (.75)
Shift: Day, Evenings, Nights, Weekends
Employment Status: Full-Time (.75 or greater)
Hours per Week: 0.75 = 60 hours
Starting Wage DOE: $19.15/hr
Assists in the care of the surgical patient by performing the scrubbing role of handling instruments, equipment and supplies. The Surgical Technologist has an understanding of the procedure being performed, anticipates the needs of the surgeon, maintains a sterile field and is responsible pre- and post-operatively for technical components of surgery.
· Graduate from an accredited surgical technology program or equivalent
· Certification by the Liaison Council on Certification for Surgical Technologist (LCC-ST), desired
· BLS CPR certification for health care providers
· Or an equivalent combination of education and experience relating to the above tasks, knowledge, skills and abilities will be considered
