ALTERNATIVES INC TENANCY SUPPORT SPECIALIST in BILLINGS, Montana

As agents of change, we work as part of a dedicated team to help residents succeed by using cognitive behavioral interventions to reduce recidivism and enhance public safety. In this role, you will address the housing needs of adults who are disabled, chronically homeless, and seeking permanent housing. Your responsibilities will include: ? Conducting assessments and identifying housing needs ? Arranging and providing pre-tenancy, housing stabilization, and tenancy sustaining services ? Coordinating housing-focused services Regular tasks will involve: ? Conducting outreach with housing-insecure individuals. ? Collaborating with community housing providers and initiatives. ? Holding one-on-one sessions regarding housing and supportive services with clients. ? Completing regular and thorough documentation and notes regarding sessions. ? Entering, uploading, and regularly maintaining program statistics. ? Grant management ? including client applications, supporting documents, approvals, and more. ? Attending various meetings regularly, including staff meetings and supportive services programming. ? Engaging in public relations with community landlords, housing programs, and other referral sources.
